What is a Webcast?

A webcast is a transmission of audio and video over the internet. Video cameras at our by-election capture the live information and send it, via our provider public-i to anyone that would like to view the event.

Through the use of your Internet connection (either broadband or via a dial-up modem) and Adobe's Flash player you can view the event live from the comfort of your own home.

Should you miss anything important, or would like to view a section of the by-election count again, then you can view the archive of the webcast.

Feedback

We have decided to webcast the count of the Newark by-election as we believe the event will be of wide public interest.

You can submit comments and feedback about the webcast using the feedback form provided at the bottom of each webcast page.
